SandEye - CMIS

Screen shot

Sandeye ltd specialise in conference messaging systems. Their flagship product is called CMIS, which allows conference attendees to keep abreast of what's going on as well as email and chat to each other. Sandeye approached Rockall because they wanted to make the application available using a web browser.

Rockall created a kiosk-based Internet Explorer application for Sandeye based around their current Lotus Notes system. The system itself was given a complete graphical overhaul and designed to be easy to use and intuitive.

The new version of CMIS was given its first outing recently at the IBM Executive Conference 2005 in Disneyland, Paris. It was received extrememly well.

In the above shot you can see the application in use. It shows a page which lists all the attendees.

Ground-breaking new technologies were incorporated alongside the traditional Lotus Domino techniques. For example - users logged in to the application by simply passing their conference ID card in front of an RFID card reader. The shot below shows the login screen a user would see when approaching a kiosk.
